Home from Montana

Just spent a week at my dad and mom's place in Montana. Quilting and relaxing is the name of the game,
Mom at her sewing table and the first two sections of her lone star. She got it donw and its gorgeous.

quilt I'm working on for a friend of Samantha's. I hope she likes it. It will end up King size. I got it done except for the last border.
I also learned a stack and whack with the dresden plate template. We went in a little quilt shop in Absorakee and I saw a christmas quilt done this way so the sales lady showed me how to do it. It is fun. I finished the last of the hand sewing on those blocks on the plane on the way home. You know, that whole idle hands thing. I also got 4 quilts bound while in Montana. My big suitcase was just quilts and projects and my carry on was clothes. Somethings wrong with this pix.

just stuff

Pace had a great time at the jamboree. Funny how most of his friends pix are with girls.
Tanner had fun in San Diego. Here they are at the Padres game.

A busy summer

I took my grandkids to see Winnie the Pooh. Kennan's three and Zach's two. We had a lot of fun.
forgot to flip this one. Gideon and jessica went thru the Temple.  Above that a darling one of Colin and Samantha. and above that Pace and the cousins having fun at the reunion in Idaho.
My mom and dad came for the weekend to be here with Gid and Jess. Always fun to have them come and stay. They even survive the crazy goings on at my house. But we had a great time with Zach's family here too.

Stuff

Pace is heading off to Sweden for the World Boy Scout Jamboree. Can't wait to see the pix from that.
Bag I made for a bag swap I did. I did the large bag to hold cutting mats or quilts you take along to work on and a small bag for whatever. The partner I had was from Australia. She sent me some great bags.

Tanner helped out at the Fire Station Open House a couple of months ago.
